How to use CooCox CoLinkEx

Since we are selling CoLinkEx LPC1114 development kit, anybody who owns it could use it directly to debug programs on LPC1114 evaluation board, but if you want to use it to debug other Cortex M3 or Cortex M0 devices, you should break off the kit and use CoLinkEx alone following the below steps:

1. If your target devices' debugging interface is 10pin(2.0mm), directly connect the hardware and debug.
2. If your target devices' debugging interface is 20pin(2.54mm), you need connect it according to the below diagram for reference:

After connection, you will be able to use CoLinkEx in CooCox environment or Keil Realview MDK or IAR Embedded Workbench.

Other useful information which you may need:

1. JP1 and JP2

JP1 controls ColinkEx and LPC1343, JP2 controls LPC1114
JP1: used to select different boot mode. Disconnection is user application code and connection is ISP command handler.
JP1 is connected to PIO0_1, PIO0_1 is sampled HIGH as default, PIO0_3 is sampled HIGH.

JP2: the same as JP1.

2. There are 3 leds on CoLinkEx Debugger: D1, D2, D3:
 D1
the red led  will be lighted when error occurs in downloading program or debugging.
 D2
the green led  will be lighted if your CoLinkEx is right connected to the PC.
 D3
the blue led  will be lighted when CoLinkEx is working(downloading or erasing program, debugging).
