Before you use CoSmart to start your project, you need to config the GCC compiler and debugger at first.

1. If you get the GCC Toolchain from CodeSoucery or ARM, etc. you just need to config the toolchain path in CoSmart.
2. If you download the GCC toolchain compiled by CooCox, you need to extract the zipped file to an english directory.

Then you need to do the following operations.

 
  1. 1. After launching CooCox CoSmart, Click "Config GCC Path" under the Project menu.
  2. 2. Click the browse button, select path of gcc
  3. 3. For example, select the arm-none-eabi-gcc.exe
  4. 4. Click OK button to save the setting.
      

After set the GCC Toolchain, you can use the CoSmart to generate C code and CoIDE project.
